On Friday, 20 November, experience a special Nirvana tribute concert at Manifesto by Come As You Were, the five-piece band from Andijk.
The music of related bands such as Queens of the Stone Age, Foo Fighters, Soundgarden and Alice in Chains will also be performed by rock band Layne. Two bands in one evening, taking us back to the origins of grunge and everything that followed. Come and experience it for yourself!
The five-piece band from Andijk performs the very best of Nirvana in an hour-long set. With authentic guitars, amplifiers, recognizable looks and carefully selected stage props, they convincingly bring not only the sound, but also the raw atmosphere and energy of Seattle’s iconic band back to life.
Recently, Come As You Were set the stage on fire at De Avond van Andijk festival, while the Noordhollands Dagblad dedicated a full page to the band and guitarist Milan Nieuweboer’s recreations of Kurt Cobain’s original guitars.
